The Elder Ministry - Mission Statement

“Understand, Commit to, and Encourage the Church’s Mission by Supporting, Assisting, and Sharing in the Ministries of the Church and Staff.”

• The Elders keep the church centered on the church’s mission.
• The Elders strive to keep the church healthy; a difficult yet extremely important task that prevents the church from getting sidetracked. 
• The Elders adopted and support two statements, “ALL People are welcomed to Christ’s Table and ALL People are encouraged to discover their gifts for ministry and use them  as God sees fit.” 
• The Elders maintain confidentiality, resolve conflict, keep a pulse on the needs of the people, and have an eye on the direction God is leading our congregation.
